The Liverpool Food and Drink Festival 2010 is now in its third year.

2009's festival saw over 30,000 foodies enjoy the launch event, with celebrity chef Marco Pierre White overseeing proceedings.

This year’s Festival launch day will take place in Sefton Park on Sunday 12th September, where tourists and city region residents alike rub-shoulders and share in good food, drink, music and company.

Over 80 of the top bars and restaurants in the city will be showcasing their culinary delights alongside specialist food and drink producers.

The official Liverpool Food & Drink Festival is 12th-18th September 2010. It is set to be a huge success with all the top bars and restaurants in the city supporting the festival.

Launching on Sunday 12th September, don’t miss out on a fantastic foodie or family day out for all, 10:30am-5:00pm. The bars and restaurants who exhibit on the day showcase their specialities, offer samples and gorgeous products to buy. Along with the 60 stall holders there is live music, cookery demo's from some of the North West's leading chefs, a masterclass marquee, a beer tent and a children’s area ensuring that there is something for everyone.
