Brian turned professional in 1993 to pursue a life in painting and teaching, following a long career in Architecture. The demands for his teaching skills grew and he has been teaching for 35 years, and running courses in Britain, together with painting holidays in many parts of Europe. Italy is his preference.

The landscape he paints today uses a palette of soft natural hues and a combination of wash and wet-in-wet techniques to illustrate the chill of winter over a quiet, tree lined country lane.
