Hidden away down a side street The Pilgrim has become a firm favourite with students especially those at The Arts Centre or LIPA or the LJMU Dean Walters building.
Old and famous pub is slightly dirty but full of charm and filled with music and wit. The drinks are cheap and the staff friendly. The long table and booths were a mainstay of my student years with many an end of exam period celebrated here.
