Astor was the first ship to visit the city during Liverpool’s Capital of Year in 2008 and made a return visit in May last year.The 20,606 tonne ship, which has a top speed of 18 knots, was built in 1987. She has seven passenger decks and carries 300 crew.Later this year she will cruise the Pacific Ocean, with stops including Sydney and Hong Kong.
