As part of Heritage open days, arts organisation Metal was opening its doors to the public.
Edge Hill Station has been unveiling a new community garden gate, which was especially designed by local schoolchildren as a memorial project to the Blitz attack of November 1940 on Durning Road, the largest loss of life in Liverpool during the Blitz.
Also there was
creative activities outdoors and indoors for children to take part in.
